Every year video film students can participate in the "Tower of Youth" film festival. Go to the TOY website (link above) and carefully read the instructions. To qualify you need to submit a film on mini DV tape, a story board, a script, a treatment, a shot list, a bio and all the required forms.
The entire package is due Friday, March 7, 2008. You must have your work reviewed before entering. If your film is substandard your teacher can refuse to deliver or sponser it.
Even if you decide not to submit a film, you are still need to have a film completed on time for credit and class revue.

Completed film - 50 points
Deliverables (storyboard, script etc.) - 50 points
Entering Contest - 25 points
Basic Deliverables
• $15 entry fee (made out to Tower of Youth)
• Cover Sheet which includes DSHS name and a Poster Design and Title, Crew, and copyright date.
• Forms: Entry Form - Membership Form - Consent Form (download from website)
• Legal Forms (download from website)
• Treatment (two paragraphs)
• Script (Average one page per minute of film - includes detailed description of action and all dialogue)
• Storyboard (pictures of each shot)
• Shot List (description of each shot)
• Producer's Biography (one paragraph)
• Cast and Crew (what did everybody do?)
• School Profile (will be available on website)
• Your finished film on MiniDV tape
